Big Pine Creek Campground
Big Pine Creek Campground, surrounded by sprawling meadows and towering trees, is perfectly situated in the scenic Big Pine Canyon. Campsites are perched along the cool, fish-filled waters of Big Pine Creek. Big Pine Canyon is heralded for having both the largest and southern most glaciers in the Sierra Nevada mountains. The campground sits at 7,600 ft. elevation among vegetation like Jeffrey pine, sagebrush, aspen and cottonwood trees.
Big Trees Campground
Named for the very large Jeffery pines that grace the site, Big Trees Campground is located along the banks of Bishop Creek and affords nice camping and fishing opportunities.

Bishop Park Campground and Group Campground
Families, friends, and special interest groups enjoy Bishop Park for its access to prime fishing and its serene setting on Bishop Creek.
Located on the banks of the Middle Fork of Bishop Creek, Bishop Park has grassy lawns and campsites right on the creek. Families, friends, and special interest groups enjoy Bishop Park for its access to prime fishing and its serene setting on Bishop Creek.
Bishop Park is an ideal setting for horseback riding, wildlife viewing, hiking, and fishing.
Bitterbrush Campground
At an elevation of 7,340 feet, Bitterbrush is a good alternative to other campgrounds in the area for being a milder winter camping option. It is frequently below the snow line or has just minor amounts of snow. The campground boasts views of Owens Valley and the Sierra Crest. There is a creek that runs by the campground, and most sites are creekside which have tall pinyon and jeffrey pines.

Forks Campground
Forks Campground is located near the junction of the South Fork and the Middle Fork of Bishop Creek. Forks Campground is located in the White Mountain District of the Inyo National Forest. The District extends from the crest of the Sierra Nevada to the White Mountains. There are lakes, ponds, rivers and creeks for fishing. Roads and trails explore a wide variety of terrain and life zones. Elevations accessible by car range from 3,900 ft in Big Pine to 10,100 ft at the end of Rock Creek Road.
Four Jeffrey Campground
Four Jeffrey Campground is a mostly shaded campground with gorgeous views of Table Mountain along the South Fork of Bishop Creek. Campers enjoy fishing and swimming in the trout-stocked creek. The nearby John Muir Wilderness provides plenty of hiking opportunities to view impressive lakes and glaciers.
Intake 2 Campground and Walk-In Campground
Known for the fishing, Intake 2 is a small lake along the road to Lake Sabrina, just past the South Lake. Spend your days fishing for rainbow trout in Lake Sabrina, or wandering down Bishop Creek.

Mountain Glen Campground
Mountain Glen is a small campground along Bishop Creek on the way to South Lake. This intimate campground is tucked in the aspens and willows next to the creek.

North Lake Campground
North Lake Campground is situated among the trees and adjacent to the north fork of Bishop Creek. If you’re dreaming of camping high in the Sierras, surrounded by countless trees and the cool breeze of a nearby lake, North Lake Campground is where you should be. Fish the nearby North Lake and hike some the few picturesque hiking trails which connect you with the greater John Muir wilderness.

Palisade and Clyde Glacier Group Campgrounds
Big Pine Canyon Recreation Area includes two group campground sites. Named for glaciers that can be seen at the end of the valley, Clyde Glacier Group Site and Palisade Glacier Group Site sit along Big Pine Creek. The glaciers in the nearby John Muir Wilderness provide an exciting hiking destination. The North Fork Trail climbs past waterfalls and zigzags through Jeffrey pine, manzanita and sage before it reaches Big Pine Lakes with views of Palisade Glacier, the largest glacier. The South Fork Trail climbs to small lakes fed by glacial waters from Norman Clyde and Middle Palisade Glaciers, the southernmost glaciers. Fishing is a popular activity in the creek and nearby lakes. A commercial pack station is within close proximity for horse enthusiasts looking for an outdoor adventure. A general store, pay showers and pond fishing can be found at a nearby resort.
Sabrina Campground
Sabrina Campground is a popular destination on the Inyo National Forest. Sabrina campground is about 3 miles from Lake Sabrina and about 10 miles from South Lake, both popular fishing destinations.

Sage Flat Campground
Sage Flat Campground is along Big Pine Creek in the Inyo National Forest, 9½ miles west of the town of Big Pine. Visitors to the Big Pine Creek area enjoy beautiful mountain scenery with mature forests of pines and aspens. Anglers have good success fishing in Big Pine Creek. Trails lead up to the spectacular Big Pine Lakes and other destinations in the John Muir Wilderness. Mountaineers are drawn by the jagged peaks along the Sierra Crest.

Table Mountain Group Campground
Table Mountain Group Campground is located 18 miles southwest of Bishop, CA, along the South Fork of Bishop Creek. Here, the creek has bountiful trout to please anglers. Nearby glaciers and lakes make for incredible scenery and wildlife viewing is excellent.
With over 2 million acres, the Inyo National Forest is home to many natural wonders, including Mt. Whitney, Mono Lake, Mammoth Lakes Basin, and the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest.
Upper Sage Flat Campground
Take the family to Upper Sage Flat for a pleasant camping trip along the banks of Big Pine Creek. Here, visitors can experience the beauty of the creek that runs along the base of a narrow canyon. Visitors can swim or fish in the creek that is stocked annually with trout, or head to a nearby lake for power boating.
Willow Campground
Willow Campground is a small campground shaded by aspen, with willow along the banks of South Fork of Bishop Creek. Willow Campground is off South Lake Road, right below South Lake, which is known for its excellent fishing.
